THE IDEA :

When it comes to online streaming services, the main competitors are always illegal platforms sharing links to games all over the web. The idea is to spread the word about BeIN Sports Connect by targeting the people who look for these illegal links online in a quirky and surprising way.

THE BRIEF :

BeIN Sports is a global network of sports channels that currently operates three full-time, and seven additional channels in France. The network also proposes BeIN Sports Connect a live stream that allows users to watch live, and on demand video content from a tablet or computer. The aim was to make know this livestream app.

 
 

THE SOLUTION :

For the Ligue 1 season launch, the idea was to spam the illegal sports websites with fake links for the game. The BeIN Fake Stream will stream in a normal sort of way the first ten minutes, after which the two sports commentators (well-known Youtubers Kemar & Jimmy Labeeu) start to have a totally incoherent speech (joking, screaming talking as if this was another sport and so on…). After that, a coupon code will appear on every fake link that allows the watchers to finish viewing the game in high definition and live on BeIN Sports Connect for free.
